Eastman does all the little things to help Lady Vikings

When you talk about Junior forward Abby Eastman one word is always mentioned and that word is tough. Abby is a player who isn't worried about her name in the paper all she cares about is winning.

We were able to catch up with the Ripley junior after their first round win over Lewis Co on Thursday night. When we asked Abby about her game and what's her mindset when stepping on the floor her response was, " My defense, I want it to be top notch and that's what I pride myself on." One of the best answers we have heard.

You can tell this young lady is all about team and all about doing whatever is asked of her to get a win. Abby had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists Thursday night, but everything else she did is what doesn't make the sports page. She is always making the right decision on both ends of the floor. She is diving for lose balls, defending screens perfectly, deflecting passes.

A dedicated player who will make any team better with her leadership and hard work.

Eastman is the type of player that coaches love and she will continue to shine for the Lady Vikings as they make their run for a championship.
