Yesterday evening was a great day for South Charleston standout WR Donavin Davis. After a fantastic senior campaign and leading the Black Eagles to another state championship Davis is off to Morgantown and pursue his dream of playing for the Mountaineers.

We were able to sit down with Donavin after his signing and talk with him about his decision. When we asked him what made him choose WVU the answer was simple,"Ive been going to WVU camps since I was little and its been my dream school. I love the environment and also love the coaching staff."

When we asked Donavin what drew him to West Virginia he told us,' It's my dream school and I feel like in life you need to take risks and that is the only way." Davis who led the Black Eagles in receiving last year will be playing the same position once he gets on campus in Morgantown.

Davis knows that he has a lot of hard work in front of him, but if there is anyone who can go from PWO to a household name it is Donavin. The thing that has also helped Davis with his college decision was former Black Eagle standout Drew Joseph who also took a PWO to WVU.

When asked about his biggest influence in life Davis had no hesitation in letting us know it was his Parents. " They have truly inspired me and helped me become the man I am today."
