Listed below are our selections for class AAAA all state girls team. We select a starting five. We like to be different here at WVSN and these are the ones we have selected.
Dionna Gray- Huntington- 2022- Guard
Dionna’s first year running the show at Huntington definitely didn’t disappoint as she led the highlanders to a state championship. She can do it all and it showed this season. She can attack the basket, knock down open shots or find the open teammate. She is a very special player.
Lindsey Garrison- Wheeling Park- 2021- Guard
Lindsey had a very good season this year and helped her team make a run down to Charleston. She is a sharpshooter that you didn’t want to leave open, but don’t get us wrong she can take you off the dribble and isn’t scared to attack the basket. She is headed to play at Bethany College next season.
Kalissa Lacy- George Washington- 2021- Guard
What else can we say about Kalissa that hasn’t already been said. An outstanding season which seen GW in the state semis, and gave Kalissa another big stage one last time. She did a little bit of everything this season and also helped get her teammates involved and make a name for themselves this year.
Autumn Lewis- Cabell Midland- 2021- G/F
Autumn had a very solid year this year and helped the Lady Knights make it to the state championship game. Autumn who can finish at the rim or step out and hit a big shot did a little of both for Midland this year. Autumn is headed to AB to continue her career.
Kaitlyn Ammons- Morgantown- 2021- Forward
Kaitlyn had another great season and a great finish to her career. Kaitlyn eclipsed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds for her career at Morgantown. She helped lead the lady Mohigans to a semi final appearance. Another stretch four who can step out and hit shots or can finish at the basket. Kaitlyn is headed to DePaul to continue her basketball career.
