Class AAA All State

Now it’s time for our AAA all state selections.

Marley Washenitz- 2022- Guard- Fairmont Sr

Marley led Fairmont Sr this year where she almost averaged a triple double. Marley is a very tough guard who does a little of everything for the Polar Bears. She is tough when the ball is in her hand. Very smart basketball IQ and is always working on her game.

Baylee Goins- 2021- Guard- Nitro

Baylees scoring was down this season but her assists were up. One of the best all around players in all of WV. Baylee is dangerous as soon as she crosses half court, whether she is pulling up for a jump shot or driving to the basket and pulling up with her floater. Baylee has always been fun to watch. A great leader and that showed in the state championship game after she was injured.

Peyton Ilderton- 2022- Guard- Logan

Another great tough guard Peyton helped Logan to a semifinal appearance where they came up short against Fairmont Sr. Peyton is another guard who can do it all for her team. She also can find the open teammate who can knock down open shots. Keep an eye on this name next season.

Alana Eves- 2021- Forward- Wayne

A tough forward who can handle the ball and has a tough mid range game Alana had a fantastic senior campaign. She helped the lady pioneers to a 12-2 regular season record. Alana is headed to AB to continue her basketball career.

Meredith Maier- 2022- Forward- Fairmont Sr

Maier made up the second part of the one two punch from Fairmont Sr. Very tough around the basket her length kills opposing teams. She can step back and hit the jumper or can attack the basket and is always fighting under the basket.
